Canberra country rock outfit, Brewn, has released their latest single, She’s Walking Away, featuring Ingrid Mae.

A heartfelt country-rock duet, the track explores the ache of unspoken love and missed chances. What began as a story about a man too shy to confess his feelings, evolved into a powerful duet between two people who see each other every day, but never find the courage to say how they feel.

Recorded and self-produced in Michael Bond’s home studio, mixed by Paul Lani in the USA and mastered at Studios 301, the track reminds us that life is short and that sometimes you just have to take a chance, reach out, and connect before the moment walks away.

Brewn includes vocalist/guitarist Michael Bond, with Anthony Barbara, Bob Harvey, John Barbara, and James Cox. Blue collar to the core, they embody the spirit of rock and the heart of country.

Country musician, Ingrid Mae, was born and raised in Kemps Creek. Her music tends to transcend the typical “three chords and the truth” formula as she swings in an out of typical country themes with more of an avant-garde approach. This alt-country style of storytelling coupled with vocal versatility makes Ingrid Mae a very different beast. At times her music brings a paradoxical blend of passion and restraint. It’s the skill in phrasing and control that helps her tune into the heartbeat of a song regardless of genre.
