Three-time Golden Guitar winning duo Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham return with their latest single, I Want You, a three-minute distillation of the euphoria and danger of skating on the edge of control with a pounding head and a pulsing chest.

“When desire consumes you so completely that it burns through every part of you with aching intensity, you know you’ve got it bad,” says Felicity.

Gritty and unapologetic, the track captures the visceral intensity of desire in the form of a catchy country anthem. Marrying vintage tones with a bluesy, rock ’n’ roll swagger, it echoes the musical chemistry of artists like Buddy and Julie Miller and Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, paired with the drive of The Rolling Stones’s take on Country.

Continuing with their award-winning team of musicians, co-producer Matt Fell joins the duo on bass, and Josh Schuberth returns on drums. For Felicity and Josh, the creative process was as organic and instinctive as the song itself. “Real musicians playing real music written by real people,” Josh reflects.
