Sally Jane
Artist: Sally Jane
Track: Two Feet
Single: Two Feet

Two Feet is the heartfelt new single from WA country artist, Sally Jane, a song close to Sally Jane’s heart, and a clear favourite of her parents, thanks to its opening line, “I should have listened to mum and dad.”

“I’ve been sitting on this song for a few years waiting for the right time to record it and hearing the song come to life is a feeling you can never describe. My producer Mark is so passionate about my songs and he brings the best quality people to record with and get the incredible sound you hear today,” says Sally Jane.

Written as a reflection of lessons learned so far, Two Feet captures the advice, values, and truth that have shaped Sally Jane’s journey into her mid-twenties. With its relatable message about growing up, finding independence, and leaning on the support of family and friends, Two Feet speaks to the universal balancing act between standing strong on your own and remembering the wisdom that guides you along the way.

The track, produced by Mark Donohoe, also on bass, features Rusty Crook on guitars, Kingsley Oldmeadow on drums and backing vocals, and Ian Simpson on banjo and dobro.

“As someone who grew up listening to Slim Dusty and touring just as much as he did, to have Ian Simpson, a previous band member of Slim, record on this track is a dream come true. Hearing him in the studio immediately picking up the song with no rehearsal was incredible to listen to and watch. I feel very lucky to have a small and amazing professional team that have put their best foot forward with this song,” says Sally Jane.
