Australian singer–songwriters, Amber Kenny, Beth Lucas and Jo Caseley, flock together to form new trio, 3 Birds & The Truth.

Their debut single, Sit Round the Table, is a touching journey through fond childhood memories that honour the enduring bonds of family and tradition.

Penned by Beth following the loss of her Nanna, Sit Round the Table is a nostalgic ode to her grandparents’ home, and the cherished everyday moments shared there, from cups of black tea to the quintessential Aussie roast dinner.

The lyrics move seamlessly from the past to present, culminating in a powerful reflection of how the family table, now in Beth’s own home, continues to be a motif for new memories as well as an eternal link to her beloved ancestors. Celebrating this legacy, Sit Round the Table highlights how love and traditions are passed down through generations, even after a loved one is gone.

The trio’s friendship is based on coming together and sharing life and stories. Their bond was formed while attending the 2023 CMAA Academy of Country Music. It’s only fitting that Sit Round the Table was produced by good friend and mentor, Roger Corbett of The Bushwackers, who has guided the trio since their Academy journey. His influence and collaboration has helped shape the group’s heartfelt and authentic style.

Just like the song, Amber, Beth and Jo’s beautiful friendship was built and continues to be strengthened with time spent “round the table” chatting, drinking tea, and sharing stories and songs.
