At its heart, the track plays on the double meaning of its title, being “hung up” on someone long after the breakup, and the regret of not hanging up the phone when you had the chance. It’s an honest look at how love can linger in the quiet hours, catching you off guard when you think you’re moving forward.

Hung Up on You was written by Zara with Zech Walters and Eloise Rayner, and was produced by Simon Johnson. Simon is also on bass, Brad Bergen on drums and acoustic guitar, Rod Motbey on electric guitar and Liam Kennedy-Clark on keys.
